Just wanted to send a reminder that this Saturday 8/11 is the Hooked on Fishing not Drugs tournament for the kids. We have had such a great response from people donating and volunteers that it is going to be a GREAT event for the kids. I just want to make sure that you know it is open to all kids from 5-15 and nobody will be turned away, the more the better. I have had so many calls and e-mails from people that want to help. I just want to reiterate that if you want to donate a couple of hours of your time and see the smiles on the kids faces be down at Shark Park field (26th st field in Brigantine) @8:00 am and we will set you up. Please bring any extra rods that the kids will be able to use. We are going to set them up to catch king fish and blues, so light tackle is all you will need. All the bait, sinkers and rigs will be supplied. They will fish from 9:00 am-12:00 noon and then we will all go back to Shark Park for food and fun. There are plenty of door prizes and awards to be given out. Everybody is a winner at this event and I hope to see everybody out there.
