Eric M was on fire last night as he was there when the bass blitz started. He said he had 9 fish and could have caught more if he had more bait. It's just a matter of being there at the right time. There is no pattern of when they are biting. Some are hitting at high tide some low no rhyme or reason. The rookies had a nice start to the season yesterday as they had 8 fish up to 46 pounds and Norm was actually high hook on the boat instead of putting other people on the meat. They really know how to fish that spot and I would NOT recommend it to anyone else. We are loading up with clams and trying to get ready for the flounder season that starts on Saturday. Gulp, Gulp and more Gulp will be the flounder choice of bait. We will be getting minnows in for the weekend but save your money and go for the GULP!!!!
Thanks and good luck
