Kim Denardo cathing blues off the surf

Kim Denardo cathing blues off the surf HOOKED ON FISHING NOT DRUGS KIDS FISHING TOURNAMENT will be held this Saturday July 28th. Registration begins at 8:00 am at the 16th street beach entrance. The first 100 kids in line get a free rod and reel combo. This is another GREAT event put on by the Brigantine Municipal Alliance with the help of many sponsors and volunteers . The Summer fishing season continues to be great. King fish , blue fish, flounder and spot have still been all over the Island. Numerous witnesses have spotted the world famous spot catcher Bob Stabinski nailing spot one after another at his dock. When interviewed he said that this has been one of the thickest schools of spot that he has fished on in a long time. We tried to find out what makes him so good at catching the spot and all he said was that he followed the reports from Riptide Bait and Tackle and was able to take it from there. Fish Bites artificial blood worms are his preference but he said that if he has to that real blood worms will work the same. Looks like the flounder are once again heading out of the back bays and searching for deeper and cooler waters. The inlet was doing well and now more anglers have been catching keepers off the cove. Arlene P was able to nail her first keeper of the season off the cove with a 19.5 inch flounder and Joey Smith also caught a keeper after releasing 6 others. Kim Denardo had 6 bluefish up to 3 pounds off the surf and brown sharks continue to hit after dark. You can find out all you need on the latest fishing reports, updates, and pictures on Twitter @RiptideBait or on Face Book at Riptide Bait and Tackle. Thanks and Keep on Fishin
